The CD gDNA Normalized Buccal Cell Kit allows purification of genomic DNA from human buccal cell swabs or pelleted cells from a mouthwash in less than 15 minutes after lysates preparation. CD gDNA Normalized Buccal Cell Kit uses magnetic beads with a unique, ionizable functional group whose affinity for nucleic acids is pH-dependent to facilitate nucleic acid purification. High-quality genomic DNA is purified at a normalized concentration of 1-3 ng / µL in a total volume of 150 µL (Figure 1) by eliminating the need for lengthy CDtation and dilution steps. Samples can be stored for up to 2 weeks at 4 °C before processing without a noticeable loss in DNA yield or quality.
